Update, Jan. 12: Carrie over at the U.S. Humane Society found this new promotion, where Facebook is donating money based on how many new fans join the Susan G. Komen for the Cure page.

This is incorrect. A company called Big Prize Giveaway and not related to Facebook is pledging to donate money based on how many people become fans of THEIR page. Becoming a fan of the Komen page doesn't count. Read the fine print.
